Fun with Family!

Well, hello everyone!  What a crazy week that just got over.  I felt like my kids were crazier than normal and I came home EXHAUSTED every evening.  On Thursday, one of my behavior kids was absent....and I was praising the Lord!  I know it's terrible, but I need a break from the crazy kids sometimes.

Last week, Aaron made our 3rd Valentines Day together so special!!  I am so lucky to be married to Aaron.  He is SO talented, and on top of that....he can COOK!!  After work I had a full meal waiting for me, plus flowers :)  So yummy and special!  I also made sure to spoil him with a gift as well!

So V-day weekend we decided to make a quick trip to see the Billings in Garden City, KS.  Below you'll see Aaron's true love for trains :)  He took over Logan and Makenah's train table and fixed up the tracks a bit.   We ended up having a beautiful day on Saturday for some activity outside as well!

Our brother-in-law, Bryan, loves taking people out to ride with him.  There is a dry river bed that is perfect to ride in for miles.  There's a ton of sand and you can see here the boys are doing some tricks on the hills!

Bry and Danielle, thanks for a fun time!!

I had to snap a picture of Aaron playing with Logan before bed!  So cute!

The next picture is for all of my East Coast family and friends.  Did you ever wonder what the road from Hesston to Garden City looked like?  Welp, here it is!  Flat, and more flat!

I received some AWESOME news last week from my parents!! THEY ARE COMING TO VISIT US!!!  We can't wait to show them our new house, have mom help with planting some flower beds, show them around town, and have a fun Easter weekend together!  Hopefully, my brother and sister-in-law will be able to join!  I am crossing my fingers that they will have a free weekend to fly too!  We miss the Yoders!  Love you all!

NEW Kitchen appliances!

Since moving into 224 S. Weaver, we have wanted to install matching appliances!  This week we finally did it!  Having a snow day helped the process along :)  Also, having the boss (Aaron's dad) assist in the installation was a huge help!

Okay so here in the picture of the old stove...

And the NEW STOVE!!!  It's so beautiful!  Also, it matches the microwave nicely :)

Did you notice the grilling area in the center?  This will be awesome for doing pancakes on a big flat surface, or changing it up a bit and grilling some pork chops, burger, etc!

Okay and next we have the old fridge, which is big, white, and ugly.  Also, you can see the white dishwasher peeking through at the bottom of the picture.

 GORGEOUS new fridge!

Plenty of space for our things.  I like how wide the shelves are in the door.  We went with a basic fridge because of the space we were dealing with.  Cabinets above and beside made it pretty limited.

AND the pretty dishwasher!  It fits so perfect into the space.  My husband must've known what he was doing :)  I am so proud of him!  Lowe's price for installation was $80....NOT FOR US!!!

Oh, and did I mention that it is stainless steel inside too?  It's awesome!

Okay so we just gave our kitchen a great face-lift!  You all need to come see it in person though!  The next project is to install our new countertops!  The same day we bought our appliances, we also ordered countertops that will take about 2-3 weeks to make and be shipped.  I am so excited!  Hopefully in about a month our red kitchen theme will match nicely with our new countertops.  Creme colored countertops will also lighten up the kitchen.  For now, the old kitchen appliances are sitting in the dining room.  We want to sell the stove, which works just great by the way!  And the dishwasher might be a freebie of sorts.  It also works good though!  If you know of anyone in Hesston looking for some appliances, let me know!  The fridge we will keep in the garage for extra freezer and fridge storage.  Hooray for a second snow day and getting to use our new appliances!!

SNOW

Okay, okay.  I couldn't choose which Casey picture to post, so I posted them all!  hehe :)
He is very loved.  I took him out for at least 10 minutes this morning and he was just loving all of the snow we are getting today!  He would run around (more like away from me!) and then throw his nose in the snow!  So cute!  He acts like such a little boy sometimes.

In other news, our kitchen is getting a face-lift today!  I am so excited!  When we moved into our house about 3 months ago, we decided to use the appliances that came with the house.  They all work good, but didn't match.  And if you know Aaron, well things look much better when they match!  I also agree :)  So our current microwave is a Frigidaire Gallery model and we really liked the stoves, and such that matched!  Aaron has been searching for the best time to buy all (3) off the appliances  and we finally went last night after I got off work!  So, the next blog will consist of AWESOME kitchen pictures!  Hopefully this cute dog can hold you over until then!

Love to all!!
